The UK housing sector is set to mark a new milestone this autumn with the launch of the first-ever Housing Executive Awards, taking place at the Bolton Wanderers Stadium on Tuesday, 14 October 2025.
After years of covering the sector’s biggest stories – from policy shifts and regeneration schemes to sustainability challenges and community success stories – Housing Executive is turning the spotlight onto the people and organisations driving meaningful change.
The inaugural awards will recognise excellence across 11 categories, including Best Retrofit Initiative, Council of the Year, Best Use of Data and Technology, and Women in Social Housing. Nominations are officially open from today until 29 August at HousingExecutiveAwards.co.uk, where full criteria and submission details are available.

The event promises to be a vibrant celebration, with complimentary food, drinks, and entertainment, plus a keynote address from a very special guest and a panel of esteemed judges, to be announced in the coming weeks.
