Production Assistant – Media, Advertising & Editorial (3 Month Contact) – Position Filled
Based on site in Birchwood Warrington, Full-time Hours, 3 Month Contract, Competitive Salary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced production team, supporting media, advertising, and editorial workflows. Based in Warrington, this role offers hands-on experience across print and digital publishing, working closely with design, sales, and editorial teams.
The Production Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of campaigns and publications, with responsibility for artwork collation, copy accuracy, client liaison, and deadline management.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain artwork, campaign instructions, and content directly from clients
- Coordinate and collate visual and written assets for print and digital projects
- Prepare and organise files using Microsoft Office, Adobe software, and in-house systems
- Liaise with advertising sales, design, and editorial teams to ensure projects meet deadlines
- Proofread and correct copy, ensuring accuracy in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency
- Maintain and enforce house style across all content and assets
- Track and chase outstanding materials from clients, authors, or internal teams
- Support campaign fulfilment across multiple media channels
- Undertake general administrative and production support tasks as required
Skills & Experience
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and internal teams
- Resilience and the ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong digital proficiency, including Microsoft Word (track changes) and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to quickly learn new software, systems, and digital workflows
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to tasks
Desirable
- Understanding of editorial processes and publishing workflows
- Knowledge of house style guidelines (Stylesheets)
- Experience with CMS platforms or publishing management systems
