At Crosby Associates Media Media, our team is the heart of what we do. Our diverse team of experts brings passion, creativity, and a commitment to every project, from content creation to targeted marketing campaigns. Get to know the people behind the insights who make it all happen!

Nick Fellows – Managing Director
Nick Fellows is the Managing Director at Crosby Associates Media, with full responsibility for P&L management, strategic planning and implementation and delivering business growth. Nick is an experienced business leader, having held senior leadership roles for one of the UK’s biggest media publishers for over 20 years. Nick specialises in business development, digital transformation and collaborative working. He likes to “get things done” and has been relentless in delivering +50% business growth in his first 2 years at Crosby Associates Media. Away from the office, Nick is a frustrated musician, a below average property developer, a keen walker and fan of Wrexham FC (long before Ryan Reynolds and the rest of Hollywood).

Laura Bates – Finance Director
Laura Bates is Finance Director at Crosby Associates Media, overseeing all aspects of finance and accounts across the business from budgets and cashflow to payroll and credit control. Known for her organisation and calm attention to detail, Laura thrives on spreadsheets, checklists, and the quiet satisfaction of ticking things off. Having been with Crosby since 2001, Laura has played a central role in the company’s evolution. Outside of work, Laura can usually be found clocking up miles with her miniature schnauzer, swimming, juggling life with two daughters, or escaping into romance novels. Her happy place is a caravan in the middle of nowhere..

Linda Fellows –
Sales Director
Linda Fellows is Sales Director at Crosby Associates Media, leading and supporting the commercial team as they work with clients to find marketing solutions that genuinely fit their business and drive meaningful results. Professionally, she thrives on conversations with clients and the buzz of working as part of a close-knit team. Linda is a proud mum to two daughters, loves long walks (especially if there’s a good pub en route), enjoys travelling to hot places, and has a particular soft spot for a properly spicy curry. Above all, she’s relentlessly positive, believing that life is very much what you make it.

Adrian North –
Head of Design
Adrian “Ade” North is Head of Design at Crosby Associates Media, overseeing the delivery of print and digital products across the portfolio. Renowned for calmly juggling multiple deadlines while reassuring everyone that everything is, in fact, absolutely fine, Ade specialises in turning blank pages into work that makes sense and looks great. Outside of work, he spends most of his time supporting his daughters at dance competitions at home and abroad, and indulging a long-standing love of sci-fi. He also once piloted a fly-by-wire aircraft over a canyon in New Zealand.

Karl Holbrook – Editorial Consultant
Karl Holbrook is Editorial Consultant at Crosby Associates Media, bringing senior newsroom experience from across the UK and the US. A former executive editor at the Daily Express, Karl also launched Express US in New York, alongside previous editorships at the Bolton News and The Northern Echo. He specialises in building strong editorial teams, sharpening strategy, and turning ambitious ideas into sustainable publishing operations – while boring anyone who’ll listen about the greatness of Bob Dylan and fighting a long-running (and increasingly losing) battle against going completely grey. Better that than bald though. (Sorry, Ade)

Paul Williams –
Commercial Manager
Paul Williams is Commercial Manager at Crosby Associates Media, bringing 40 years of media sales experience to the team, including seven years with Crosby. One of the most seasoned figures in the commercial department, Paul thrives on a challenge and is at his best when there’s a target to chase. Known for his energy, drive and competitive streak, Paul is all about delivering results while keeping things upbeat. Outside of work, he’s a big fan of dining out and getting away abroad whenever he can. His motto says it all…work hard, play hard.

Darren Hayes –
Head of Partnerships
Darren Hayes is Head of Partnerships at Crosby Associates Media, building strong relationships with clients – particularly across the social housing sector – to support their promotional and marketing needs. He thrives on collaboration and is known around the office for bringing energy, positivity, and an endless supply of dad jokes (all of which are, of course, very funny). Outside of work, Darren manages his lad’s football team, captains a pool team, and spends as much time as possible with his family. He’s a year-round shorts wearer, a Manchester United supporter for better or worse, and rarely turns down good food – or a well-made Old Fashioned. Above all, there’s always a smile on his face.

Kerry Hurst – Senior Credit Controller
Kerry Hurst is Senior Credit Controller at Crosby Associates Media, responsible for managing credit accounts, setting credit limits, monitoring aged debt, and ensuring invoices are paid on time. She’s proud of building and running the credit control department and is driven by a genuine love for her role and the people she works with. Outside of work, Kerry enjoys bingeing a good drama, planning holidays, and indulging her love of seafood and prosecco. She’s also very proud of her two daughters and, if there’s one thing to know about her, it’s that she has an entirely healthy (and steadily growing) obsession with trainers – with more than 20 pairs and counting.

Harry Palmer –
Editor
Harry Palmer is Editor of Housing Executive at Crosby Associates Media, specialising in social housing. He’s at his best turning complex policy into clear, human stories – often with Lana Del Rey in his headphones. When he’s not debating the future of the sector, the self-confessed film and music obsessive can usually be found training in the gym or indulging his famously wide (and objectively questionable) taste in music. Just don’t let him near a karaoke machine!

Danny Ball –
Editor
Danny Ball is a Multimedia Journalist at Crosby Associates Media, producing online and print content across the company’s building and construction titles. Known for his ability to get up to speed quickly in complex, niche sectors, Danny has played a key role in shaping and growing Build News. He gets particular satisfaction from seeing a publication he’s worked on land in print, and counts both the 2026 NASC Yearbook and the growth of Build News among his career highlights. Outside of work, the Liverpool FC season ticket holder is rarely far from football and he has no regrets about the only gig he attended last year being Sabrina Carpenter.
